My SWOT Analysis

Strengths & Weaknesses:

In terms of my self-evaluation and feedback from others, I believe my strength lies in being able to bring positive value to others. When interacting with people, what I bring to them is often the standard by which I evaluate a relationship. Creativity plays a significant role, aiding me in helping others, creating opportunities, or bringing new value to a company. Creativity gives me the ability to continuously generate new ideas and helps me learn new things through observation.

From the feedback of others, I've come to understand that I am a very honest and sincere person. This realization surprises and comforts me because it's not usually an aspect I consciously consider when evaluating myself. It makes me think that sincerity is a powerful virtue in the design process. In my design reports, I often make practical adjustments based on project constraints, and the design language I use is not exaggerated but rather appropriately and sincerely conveys the concepts and ideas to clients. Extracting design elements from aspects like site conditions, residents, ecology, climate, etc., I usually reinterpret them with design thinking and gently showcase them.

As for my weaknesses, I am not very adept at sharing my observations and insights with others. Perhaps it's inherent in my personality, and there might be a need for me to become more courageous in sharing opinions. In team interactions, solely creating a positive team atmosphere may not always be beneficial. I aspire to be more decisive, have a greater impact when helping others, and demonstrate stronger leadership skills.

Strengths:

● Analytical Case Study Skills: Through training in school and the workplace, I have the ability to search and understand various forms of sites or cases. Understanding background information about a site before proceeding with the design process helps avoid oversights.

● Site Analysis and Understanding: Proficient in measuring sites, understanding limitations, opportunities, and documenting them.

● Planning and Design Skills: I can propose multiple design solutions tailored to the themes and requirements of different projects, bridging the gap between the site itself and the project's theme. In previous works, I integrated traditional opera into a neighborhood, enhancing both the visibility of opera and the vibrancy of community life.

● Storytelling Skills: Throughout my training, storytelling skills have been a crucial and consistently applied technique in conveying my design ideas. I can adeptly grasp the context of the theme and gradually incorporate design elements or concepts into the presentation. Beyond storytelling, my proficiency in presentation creation enhances my ability to narrate stories effectively to the audience.

● Design Execution Skills: Capable of solving problems with alternative solutions under considerations of budget and other constraints. Understanding how to implement design plans on-site.

Weaknesses:

● Improving English Proficiency: Need to expand my English vocabulary to enhance language precision in the workplace.

● Communication Skills: While understanding the overall picture of a project, I aim to communicate more precisely and quickly with individuals of any personality or position, increasing the execution speed.

● Introverted Personality: As an introverted individual, although I can be very confident in explaining concepts or presenting design ideas, my goal is to become more proactive and assertive.
